Although the Major Leagues came to an end this season, the organizations are still working and published their list of released players. For this year 15 Creole sluggers appear in the respective cards, led by pitcher Eduardo Rodríguez, infielder Eduardo Escobar and utility Marwin González, these players hope to get new teams to stay active in the majors and show that they maintain a high level.

Eduardo Rodríguez is coming off an interesting season with the Boston Red Sox, leaving a regular season record of 13 wins and 8 losses in 32 appearances with a 4.74 ERA. The Carabobeño also pitched in the postseason where he won and lost a game in three starts, with 14 fans and only two walks. The 28-year-old southpaw is sought after by various organizations so he will have many options to choose from.

Eduardo Escobar is another candidate to finish in a good organization after leaving interesting numbers this season when playing with the Arizona Bells and Milwaukee Brewers respectively. The Maracay native hit 28 home runs and drove in 90 runs, hitting a .253 collective average. At 32, the infielder is going into his 12th season in the Major Leagues.

Marwin González started the season with the Red Sox, but was later released to be taken over by the Houston Astros, a team with which he played the World Series, standing out in the fifth game with a hit that gave his team the advantage. The 32-year-old has spent 10 seasons in the majors, thanks to his versatility in the infield and outfield, so he can be a good option for teams mainly in the National League.

The list is completed by the players; Wilson Ramos, Asdrúbal Cabrera, Ehire Adrianza, Sandy León, Freddy Galvis, Gerardo Parra, Manny Piña, Robinson Chirinos, Luis Avilán, José Lobatón, Jhoulys Chacín and Yusmeiro Petit.
