The slugger Fernando Tatis Jr. broke a series of records offensive after his home run number 28 of the season in the MLB.
Through the Washington Nationals vs. San Diego Padres game, Fernando Tatis Jr. hit his 28th homer of the season, incidentally, equalized and put his name among the following records:
- Fernando Tatis Jr.. he also became the shortstop with the most homers (28) before the All-Star break. The previous record was held by Alex Rodriguez, who hit 27 home runs in 1998 and 2002.
- Tatis Jr. became the youngest player in MLB history to have more than 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases before the all-star game, only 15th in history to do so.
- With his jonron 28, Fernando Tatis Jr. he’s tied for the most HRs in any span of 71 games with more than 20 stolen bases since at least 1901, with a stretch by Christian Yelich in 2019.
