The Pirates of Cabo Rojo refuse to lose at the start of Double A Baseball

The Pirates of Cabo Rojo continued their unbeaten record by winning 8-4 over Cafeteros de Yauco this Friday in action from the 2022 Double A Superior Baseball season.

Cabo Rojo registers perfect performance in the leadership of the Southwest with a record of 7-0while Yauco plays for 1-6 in the basement, the Baseball Federation reported in a press release.

It was a game dominated by the Pirates from the very first inning, with four runs. Right-hander Miguel Mejía pitched six innings to win the game. Two of the four runs he allowed were unearned. He struck out seven batters and walked one.
