The Major League Baseball All-Star Game returns this year after the cancellation of last year’s game at Dodger Stadium due to the coronavirus pandemic, which caused the season to be postponed and started until the end of July. This year’s game was moved from Atlanta to Denver by the MLB in response to election law changes implemented by Georgia. Critics condemned these changes as too restrictive.

Guerrero and Tatis are the 22-year-old sons of former major leaguers.

Vladimir Guerrero was selected nine times to the All-Star Game from 1996 to 2011 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018. Fernando Tatis was a third baseman, outfielder and first baseman who played in the majors from 1997-2010.
