Sharks from La Guaira beat the Navegantes del Magallanes, to prevail with a score of 8-1, at the José Bernardo Pérez in Valencia. With this result, they remain in fifth position in the table, half a game for the Turkish team and one from second place, shared by the Cardinals and Lions.

For the shark cast, Jesús Guzmán went to the street on the opposite side, for his second homer of the season, taking Junior Sosa on the way to extend the lead by two races. This was at the height of the sixth chapter. Luis Avilés repeated the solo dose in the ninth inning.

The first line of the meeting came in the third section, courtesy of the uncontrolled filibuster pitching; Ricardo Genovés and Junior Sosa traded walks, Brayan Rocchio singled to center and Danry Vásquez walked with the bases loaded to make it 1-0.

In the fourth, Avilés and Genovés himself hit consecutive hits, with one out on the board, Avilés scored on a selection play, after a failure by Maikel García with which they forced the out in intermediate.

At the height of the fifth, Danry Vásquez opened the inning with a double to left field, Guzmán negotiated a walk that caused the departure of reliever Gabriel Moya; Teodoro Martínez received the new pitcher with another two-cushion plank to clear the bases with two RBIs.

Brayan Rocchio was on fire, hitting a trio of hits on four trips to the plate, with a negotiated ticket. His average was .458.

Magellan barely showed any signs of life in the sixth inning, with a double from Engelb Vielma. However, it did not progress. In the following episode, on consecutive nights, Leonardo Reginatto took to the streets to deduct a race from the differential.

The defeat went to the Turkish starter, Luis Martínez, who in a three-inning effort allowed one run and gave away four passports; he prescribed three guairistas. Jorgan Cavanerio had a solid start for the Littoralenses, with six completions in which he allowed three hits, prescribed six and allowed no runs, to take the victory.

This Thursday, Tiburones de La Guaira receives a visit from Leones del Caracas at the University, while the Navegantes del Magallanes move to José Pérez Colmenares de Maracay, to challenge the Tigres de Aragua.
