Seven Cuban players in Marlins Minor League training camp

Led by the Mesa brothers, a total of seven Cuban baseball players were called by the Miami Marlins for their Minor League training camp ahead of the upcoming baseball season.

The gardeners Victor jr. and Víctor Víctor Mesa arrive at the preparation with all their dreams to fulfill, although in the case of the eldest, what has been shown so far is not enough to capture the optimism that the Junior does have, which reached Class A last season.

In addition to these two, the Marlins will have their eye on the performances of Havana shortstop Yiddi Cappe -whom some dare to compare with Carlos Correa-, sluggers Lázaro Alonso (1B) and Luis Avilés Jr. (SS) and the pitchers Sandro Bargallo and Luis González.

On these days It was also known that the Marlins invited the catcher and first baseman from Pinar del Río, Lorenzo Quintana, to their Spring Training.who will try to make room on a roster that has not had Cubans since May 31, 2018, when Odrisamer Despaigne pitched against the Padres.
