New York Mets are favorites to make trade for Kris Bryant

Trade rumors involving Cubs star Kris Bryant continue to gather intensity as July 30 approaches. Several teams remain interested in Bryant, and MLB Network correspondent Jon Heyman reported that the New York Mets are among those clubs.

Bryant, 29, has played 52 outfield games for Chicago this season, plus 27 games at the hot corner and 12 at first base. When the trade deadline comes around, approximately $ 6 million will be deducted from your salary for 2021.

Bryant entered Friday with a .274 / .353 / .854 line, 16 home runs and 46 RBIs in 81 games for the Cubs this season.
