MLB: Syndergaard calls Mike Trout ‘the best ever’, goes for the World Series

The great recruitment so far of the Los Angeles Angels is pitcher Noah Syndergaard, who comes from playing his entire career in the New York Mets and although Tommy John has not been able to play due to surgery in the last two seasons of MLB, Thor has great potential and when he’s at his peak, there are few pitchers better than him, so while the bet on Anaheim is risky, it makes a lot of sense in a team looking to finally compete for the playoffs.

According to Syndergaard himself mentioned in an interview with MLB Network, the pitcher did not come to Anaheim to rest or looking for a more pleasant climate, but instead goes with a view to playing with the best players in the business and helping Mike Trout win his first ring of World Series.

I didn’t go to Anaheim because of the weather. I come to play with the best players: Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Anthony Rendón or Jared Walsh. Trout is the best player we’ve ever seen, I want to help him win a World Series ring.

Mike Trout practically did not play in the 2021 season due to injuries and the only season in which he could reach the playoffs in his career was in 2014, playing only 3 games and being swept by the Kansas City Royals in the Division Series of the American League, where he just hit one hit in 15 plate appearances.

I started as a rookie on Al Bat in early 2018 and I am going into my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the shrimp capital of the world, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived in Australia for a while; i survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
