MLB playoffs: Wainwright will forget Albert Pujols’ ‘friendship’ at Cardinals-Dodgers

Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals will face each other in one of the hottest duels of these MLB Playoffs, when they fight in the Wild Card for the right to play the San Francisco Giants in the National League Division Series, where among other stories, old acquaintances will be seen in the figure of Adam Wainwright and his inseparable drummer, Yadier Molina, with Albert Pujols.

Adam Wainwright will open the game with obviously Yadi Molina behind the plate, with Albert Pujols most likely coming off the bench or unknowing, playing in the first in the absence of Max Muncy, and as mentioned by Derrick Goold of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch , that they are great friends, but that now it is a war between the two.

Albert and I talk all the time. We are great friends, but right now it is a struggle. We will be content later and talk, but today we are enemies.

The trio of Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols played together for the St. Louis Cardinals from 2005 to 2011 and together they won the 2006 and 2011 World Series.

I started as a rookie on Al Bat in early 2018 and am going for my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the shrimp capital of the world, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived in Australia for a while; i survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils, and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
