The Boston Red Sox have a promising future in the infield in young prospect Triston Casas and he could be a cornerstone in the coming Major League Baseball (MLB) campaigns.
Casas was recently interviewed and was asked if he has thought about signing a long-term extension with the Red Sox, a situation to which he stated that he would be open to doing during his career.
“I would love to stay in Boston for the rest of my life. I love the city in what little I’ve tasted of it. I don’t know of another place and I don’t want to,” the young man told WEEI.com’s Rob Bradfrod. However, he added that “nobody has approached him” to convince him about it.
Triston Casas made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut during the 2022 Season. In it he managed to see action in 27 games. His batting average stood at .197, he hit five home runs and drove in 12 runs for the Boston Red Sox.
