Detroit Tigers activated Miguel Cabrera from the 10-day disabled list before Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Cabrera hadn’t been since Sept. 2 because of a left biceps strain. At 39, he is in the worst offensive season of his major league career.

The future Hall of Famer is hitting .258 with four home runs and 38 RBI in 103 games in his 20th year in the majors. The 12-time All-Star and two-time AL MVP has 506 career home runs and 3,080 hits.

Cabrera’s many accomplishments in his 15 seasons with the Tigers include winning the Triple Crown in 2012, when he hit .330 with 44 home runs and 139 RBIs. He spent his first five seasons (2003-07) with the then-Florida Marlins.
