MLB hints that Bryce Harper will win the MVP and not Fernando Tatis Jr. or Juan Soto

The Best of the Best Awards MLB are being delivered this week, with the Rookies of the Year and Managers of the Year, seeing winners Jonathan India and Randy Arozarena as the most prominent newbies and Kevin Cash and Gabe Kapler as the best drivers. Now they remain the Cy Young and of course the MVP, with these two categories being perhaps the most important.

Specifically in the MVP of the National League there is a very interesting race between Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Bryce Harper, with these three having brutal seasons and a vote that seems close. However, MLB may have already inadvertently confirmed the winner of the National League MVP.

According to information from the MLB Network, the legendary Philadelphia Phillies player, Mike Schmidt, will be presenting the National League MVP, which seems to confirm that Bryce Harper would indeed be winning his second MVP award over Tatis Jr. and Juan Soto.

The same logic has applied to past winners of awards that have already been handed out, Reds legend Johnny Bench delivered the Rookie of the Year to Jonathan India, Cincinnati player, or Bruce Bochy, former Giants manager, delivered Manager of the Year award to Gabe Kapler.

I started as a rookie on Al Bat in early 2018 and I am going into my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the shrimp capital of the world, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived in Australia for a while; i survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
