The dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just keep rolling. The 22-year-old star appears to have caught a second wind down the stretch, hitting his 42nd home run of the season, one behind Shohei ohtani for the MLB leadership.
The home run also gave Guerrero Jr his 100th RBI of the season, the first year he reached that milestone, but surely not his last with the Toronto Blue Jays:
He is the third player in American League history with a season of 40 homers and 100 RBIs before age 23, joining Joe DiMaggio (1937) and Puerto Rican Juan Igor González (1992).
