MLB: Aaron Judge’s 46th home run marks his 100th career RBI and puts ‘Judge’ in elite company

The lanky right fielder New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge cleared the Green Monster with his major league-leading 46th home run of the 2022 season on Friday, collecting his 100th RBI of the season in hometown style, albeit at Fenway Park.

In Judge’s 109th game of the season, the home run established Judge as the fastest player to reach 100 RBIs since Miguel Cabreraof the Detroit Tigers, did so in 103 games in 2013, a season in which Cabrera won the American League MVP award.

The last Yankee to reach 100 RBI in fewer than 109 games was Alex Rodriguez, in his 2007 AL MVP season. 15 years of that Judge does it again in the Bronx and it was against his staunch rival.
