MLB: A Latino Marlins pitcher is excited that the Yankees and Dodgers want him in their rotation

The Venezuelan right-handed starting pitcher, Paul Lopezis one of the strong cards of the Marlins starting rotationa team that in recent years has ceased to be a protagonist in the Big leagues and therefore, they have let go instead of several stars that have emerged in the organization.

Like Giancarlo Stanton or JT Realmuto in his time, López could also be part of a trade, as there is talk that two important teams, Yankees and Dodgers, were asking the Marlins board for a trade at the last deadline. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, there is a chance the 26-year-old right-hander could be dealt this winter.

“I would embrace that idea 100 percent.” Said Pablo López when asked if he would agree to move to New York or Los Angeles to be part of the Yankees or Dodgers starting next season.

It should be noted that the native of Cabimas, Venezuela, has another two arbitration contract seasons left, so it remains a very attractive move for other clubs that length of time he would have before becoming a free agent.
