MLB: A big question every club faces this offseason

Each team has a lot of questions to answer in the weeks and months to come: after all, it’s low season. Some teams have more questions than others, but each team has at least one. It is usually large.

With that in mind, we provide you with a great offseason question for each team. This is the most urgent question, the most vital question, potentially among many, that every team has to solve. In March, we will need all of these answers, if not before:

  1. Blue Jays: How do you replace Robbie Ray and Marcus Semien?

  2. Orioles: When does the next step happen?

  3. Rays: Will you start talking to Wander Franco about an extension?

  4. Red Sox: Are you done with the ‘big splash’ game?

  5. Yankees: What shortstop?

  6. Cleveland: Will José Ramírez ever wear a Guardians uniform?

  7. Royals: When are prospects part of the solution?

  8. Tigers: Time to make the move?

  9. Twins: What is Byron Buxton’s plan?

  10. White Sox: How do you take the next step?

  11. Angeles: Can you find pitchers?

  12. A’s: So this is a reconstruction?

  13. Astros: If Carlos Correa leaves, who plays shortstop?

  14. Sailors: Will they hit the gas?

  15. Rangers: Are they really going to be spenders?

  16. Braves: They’ll bring back Freddie Freeman … right?

  17. Marlins: What stage of the process are they at?

  18. Mets: Who is in charge?

  19. Nationals: Will there be any movement in an extension of Juan Soto ?.

  20. Phillies: Can you get another bat?

  21. Brewers: Are they really going to trade Josh Hader?

  22. Cardinals: Will they improve as a shortstop?

  23. Cubs: What kinds of starting pitchers are you bringing in?

  24. Pirates: Who plays in the gardens?

  25. Reds: Will it really be a big step back?

  26. D-backs: Is Ketel Marte worth buying ?.

  27. Dodgers: How many free agents do they have?

  28. Giants: Can they do with the rotation what they have done with the lineup?

  29. Parents: Can you get your mojo back?

  30. Rockies: Can you find rake-ready hitters in Denver?

I am fond of the King of Sports, especially the Boston Red Sox in MLB and in general all of Mexican baseball. This profession has given me the opportunity to cover major events such as the Caribbean Series, LMB All Star, LMP (uninterrupted since 2009), signings of important players. I had the chance to attend the 2013 World Classic in Arizona, USA, albeit as a fan. Apart from this beautiful sport, I love basketball, where I have also narrated games and even an NBA friendly 10 years ago, but I carry baseball in my veins. Bachelor of Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) , from which I graduated in 2011. I was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa and started in the world of sports journalism in 2004 in the newspaper El Sol de Mazatlán, where I was a baseball columnist and reporter at the same time. In January 2009 I came to El Debate as a journalist reporter and it was almost six years (in the first stage), until in November 2014 I emigrated to the radio providing my services at Línea Directa-Grupo RSN. My cycle there ended in July 2019 and after a few days, El Debate gave me another opportunity to work and opened the doors for me again. That is how I came to Al Bat, where I have been since 2019 as a web journalist.
