LVBP: Lions come out of the pothole with 15 runs

Jesús Sucre hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning and the Anzoátegui Caribes came from behind to defeat the La Guaira Sharks 10-9 in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.

Balbino Fuenmayor hit 4-for-3 with a double, one RBI and one scored; Oswaldo Garcia went 3-2 with a solo homer and three runs and Niuman Romero hit 5-2 with an RBI to lead the winners’ offense.

Jean Toledo (2-1) retired a perfect inning to score victory. The setback went to the record of Arnaldo Hernández (1-1) after allowing two touchdowns and three hits in one episode.
