Roberto Osuna revealed if he plans to be part of the Mexican National Team of the Caribbean Series 2022 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The pitcher said he would consider going but with some situations in mind. He is currently contesting the 2021-2022 Season of the Mexican Pacific League (LMP) with Charros de Jalisco.
The Mexican team of the Caribbean Series 2022 could count on the presence of Roberto Osuna in its pitching staff, since the pitcher would have plans to attend the international event.
Osuna Quintero revealed to the StrikeOut media that the issue of the ‘Caribbean Classic’ has been “discussed with his agent” and that he “would not want to stop pitching” and that “he would not rule out going” but he would “already with an MLB contract in the hand”.
The current Charros de Jalisco closer is working on his quest to return to Major League Baseball, a circuit in which he has not pitched since 2020, the year in which he suffered an arm injury.
Regarding his physical condition, Roberto Osuna has shared that “he is already 100%” and that he feels like the “Osuna from before”, a situation that would be leading him to already have contacts with organizations in the United States.
