The rumor that indicates that Trevor story will seek a short-term contract when the free agent market of the MLB.
This week there was a new report, this time from John Tomase of NBC Sports Boston, indicating that Story could sign a one-year trial contract with an American League East club, putting New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox on the front row.
Tomase believes the shortstop could be trying the same as Marcus semien Two years ago, when he was coming off a bad season with Oakland and signed for a year with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Jonathan Singleton, a former first baseman prospect who hasn’t played in the major leagues since 2015, signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Singleton was released by the Astros in 2018 while serving a 100-game suspension under baseball’s minor league drug program, after a third positive test for a drug of abuse.

The New York Mets’ search for a new manager added a new candidate as they will interview Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough, The New York Post’s Joel Sherman reported.
McCullough isn’t the only Dodgers coach interviewing for the job, as Los Angeles bench coach Bob Geren is also a candidate.
McCullough was a minor league field coordinator for the Dodgers and spent nine years managing minor league teams in the Toronto organization.
