LAST MINUTE: Best pitcher of the Cuba and Industriales Team escaped, GO 9

The Cuba Sub 23 baseball team is located in Obregón, Mexico disputing the world of the category. The national team was in 4th place in the Super Round, which managed to sneak into the discussion for the bronze medal this afternoon against Colombia.

A few minutes ago it was known that the main starter of the team, Bryan chi, escaped from the delegation in the Aztec nation. Francys Romero announced the news on her Twitter account this Saturday, October 2.

Thus, he became the 9th Cuban player to escape during the U23 team’s journey in Mexico, smashing the record for the most withdrawals during a tournament. Such a stampede is unprecedented.

Chi participated in three challenges during the World Cup, two as a starter and as a relief precisely in the match that gave the possibility of discussing the bronze after beating Panama nine runs by eight.

The habanero has been in four National Series with Industriales. He debuted in 2017-2018 as a reliever and remained in that role during 2018-2019. In his last two seasons he has played the starter role with good results.
