LAST MINUTE: 4 Cuban players WILL SIGN contracts in the Japanese League

Without a doubt, the Japan Professional Baseball League (NPB) It is the favorite and highest quality destination of the Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB) to hire players for their management as a government agency in charge of this and other efforts within the Cuban baseball.

Continuously, several Antillean players join the different teams of the Japanese professional circuit, while others consolidate their contracts or renew them, a situation that seems to be on the right track.

As FCB published today on its official Twitter account, three Cuban players will sign contracts managed by said body with the Dragones de Chunichi team of the Japanese Professional Baseball League (NPB): Guillermo García, Frank Abel Álvarez, Raidel Martínez and Yariel Rodríguez, in a meeting that will take place on the morning of this Friday, November 12, at 11:00 am, at the Latin American Stadium.

The cases of Granmense outfielder and first baseman Guillermo García and Pinar del Río right-hander, Frank Aben García, are a new addition to the Dragons, as we previously reported on this website, while the speedy back-to-back closer Raidel Martínez and the right-wing Agramontino Yariel Rodríguez, extend a contract with the Japanese franchise, for a baseball season of 2022 what will start on March 25 of next year.
