Kris Bryant says these Giants remind him of the 2016 champion Cubs

The San Francisco Giants are the undoubted surprise of this 2021 MLB season, being the best team around Major League Baseball being the first to reach 60, 70 and 80 wins respectively, in addition to leading a division that seemed like the most competitive of all With the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres there, believed to be the favorites to compete at the top.

Entering almost September, the Giants are leading the division and all of the Major Leagues, and for the newcomer to the team, Kris Bryant, the chemistry that the Bay team has is very reminiscent of that core of players that broke the curse of 108 years without a championship with the Chicago Cubs, according to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports.

After each victory we celebrate it. We have a lot of fun in the clubhouse, the guys get along really well and we even hang out together. I’ve been a locker room like this in the past and we even won the World Series. I think because of that kind of atmosphere we were able to win and I see that here in San Francisco.

The reality is that these Giants are that they do not believe in anyone and for now, they are one of the favorites to go far in the postseason, even more with the reinforcement of Kris Bryant.

I started as a rookie on Al Bat in early 2018 and I am going into my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the shrimp capital of the world, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived in Australia for a while; i survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
