Dodgers: Trevor Bauer assures on Twitter that he will return to play for the team

One of the biggest controversies of the 2021 season of MLB it was undoubtedly the case of domestic violence in which he was involved Los Angeles Dodgers ace Trevor Bauer who since June of last year is on administrative leave and under police investigation for having beaten a woman while they were having sex. Although it is already more than half a year that has passed and the investigation against him is progressing, apparently the pitcher can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Recently, Bauer returned to making use of social networks and interacting with fans, and apparently he is echoing a possible return to the playing fields for this just begun 2022, since the pitcher cited a tweet that a fan made him where He mentioned that “I was hoping to see you soon in the Dodgers uniform at Dodger Stadium,” to which Bauer replied, “I’m looking forward to it.”

However, Bauer’s wishes are one thing and what the Dodgers and even MLB could do after the police investigation against him ends, since the same league could suspend him at its discretion or at least fine him for violating violence policies. Major League Baseball domestic, plus reports that the Dodgers no longer want anything to do with the pitcher.

Bauer last played on June 28 of last year against the San Francisco Giants and in 2021 he had 17 starts with an 8-5 record and 107.2 innings pitched, with a 2.59 ERA, 139 strikeouts and 2.8 WAR.

I started as a rookie on Al Bat in early 2018 and I’m going into my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the shrimp capital of the world, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived in Australia for a while; i survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
