David Ortiz announces his Dominican line-up for the World Classic

The Big Papi offers a solution to the shortstop debate between Fernando Tatis Jr. and Wander Franco

At times when the name of David Ortiz as manager of the Dominican team for the next World Baseball Classicthe “Big Papi” gave his favorites to be in the lineup of the always competitive national team.

The next Hall of Fame did not hesitate to express that Wander Francowhom he called “El Baby de Juan Barón”, must be the starting shortstop of the Dominican squad and pointed out that Fernando Tatis Jr.. he must play in the outfield, alluding to the fact that he has done it before in his career, in statements to the radio program Sports Diamond.

However, Ortiz did not stop emphasizing that there was a brotherhood in these teams and that the most important thing is that as a country “we have the talent” for the next edition of the World Classic.

David Ortiz did not mention any player for the receiver position but everything indicates that it should be Gary Sanchez who wears the mask for the World Cup event.
