Caribbean Series: Dominican Republic and Mexico for the last ticket to the final

The winner of tonight’s game will face Colombia in the match that closes the Caribbean Series on Thursday

The duel from the ‘loma de los sustos’ between Tyler Alexander and Brennan Bernardino will kick off the semifinal match B on the penultimate day of the Caribbean Series.

The Gigantes del Cibao from the Dominican Republic and the Charros de Jaliscos from Mexico will meet at 8 p.m. in the last match of the day on Thursday in Santo Domingo 2022.

The Dominicans got an exciting and controversial victory on Tuesday night against the Navegantes del Magallanes in extra innings 8 runs for 7.

In a play in the eighth episode that allowed the locals to tie the match, in the prelude Gustavo Núñez was called safe despite the fact that the images on the broadcast pointed to the contrary. The Venezuelans ran out of ‘challenges’ at that time to request the review.

The Charros also narrowly won thanks to an RBI single by Jesús Esteban Quiroz that produced the only run of the game.
