More than two years have passed since one of the most impressive movements in the recent era of the MLB. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent Alex Verdugo to the Boston Red Sox for the services of Mookie Betts. After that time, Verdugo recently confessed the have been upset about the change they made to him from the Dodgers to the Red Sox.
Journalist Chris Cotillo from MassLive interviewed Alex Verdugo recently and among the topics discussed was the change that the player experienced two years ago when he went from the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Boston Red Sox.
The Mexican confessed to having been annoyed by the movement, since “he considers that he should not have been the man changed” by Mookie Betts but that as a consolation he can say that “he was changed by Betts”.
It was at the beginning of February prior to the 2022 MLB Season that it was reported that the organizations and that of Los Angeles made a move in which the Dodgers received Betts while the Red Sox received the services of Verdugo, Jeter Downs and Connor Wong .
Although Alex Verdugo was not entirely happy about his arrival at the Boston Red Sox, he can now say that he “loves” where he is and that both his teammates and the fans have been “great” to him.
