Águilas announce two of the imported ones that will nest in Zulia (+ Photos)

Preparations continue to advance for the 2021-2022 edition of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

This Friday Águilas del Zulia announces the name of two of the foreign players that will make up its roster in the new tournament, they are the pitchers Braulio Torres-Pérez and Arik Sikula, both of American nationality.

For his part, Sikula will have his third foray into the LVBP; In 2014-2015 he was at the service of Caribes de Anzoátegui and in 2018-2019 with Bravos de Margarita. In our circuit he accumulates a 2-4 record, 3.44 ERA, 34 fanned in 65.1 sections of 17 tickets for a 1.22 whip, allowing 4 home runs to average 0.55 for every 9 innings thrown.

The left-hander posted an 8-1 record with a 2.71 ERA in class A with the Tampa Bay Rays organization.

“It was super good for me, I was able to fulfill the role of starter or coming from the bullpen, I come here with a lot of desire to help, I would like to be a starter, but if the team wants me to help from the bullpen I will do it”, he specified.
