A cat in Yankee Stadium, will it be the new doll?

A running cat put Yankee Stadium into a frenzy during the game of New York against the Orioles when the furry little cat found his way to the warning track and put the field team on a wild chase.

Clearly not ready to be escorted out of the stadium during his moment in the limelight, the feline attempted to scale the field wall to evade his pursuers.

That ignited the bronx crowd, who hadn’t seen many baseball highlights during the first innings.

Chants of “MVP! MVP! “ it began to resonate in the stadium, and every time the feline moved to escape the field team, it garnered a resounding vote of confidence from the fans.

“I didn’t see the cat until it was on the garden wall. Then it was to see seven adult men whose ankles were broken by a cat. It was really fun to watch. “

Finally, the chase came to an end when the feline unknowingly ran into an open door toward the bleachers along the third base line and, of course, a chorus of boos rained down.

Someone to give that feline a contract

After seeing the entire chase, O’s manager Brandon Hyde had to admit that the feline had the makings of a five-tool player.

“The cat showed good speed, agility and uprightness at times,” Hyde said. Get that cat a contract!
