A breakfast with Derek Jeter was vital to his contract, why did this player want to come to Miami?

The important thing was said and done at breakfast. Derek Jeter wanted to see with his own eyes just how real Avisail Garcia’s desire to play in Miami was. I went home happy, I felt a lot of emotion, because I felt that I could be here. We got to know each other and know the plans. Thank God it was given to us. ”

Is it true that you’ve been waiting for this for three years?

“God’s time is perfect. I always wanted to be here. For a long time. It couldn’t be done then, but it can be done now. I hope that the Venezuelan and Cuban fans, all Latinos come to the stadium to support us, because we have an excellent team and the chance to do special things. ”

You have several compatriots in the team, how important is it?

“Very important. I played against Miguel Rojas for many years in Venezuela and here. I was together with Aguilar on the team. He trained together with Pablo in the offseason. He told Pablo that he wanted to come to Miami and look, it has already been fulfilled. ”
