17-year-old makes history in the Australian Baseball League

A 17-year-old girl named Genevieve Beacom made history after making his debut in the Australian Professional Baseball League, where they have played some major leagues as well.

Days ago an exclusive report came to light from a pitcher who was going to make history in professional baseball, something never before seen at the baseball level in Australia, the first time a woman reaches there.

Beacom made her debut pitching an inning without allowing a touchdown as a reveal, it is unknown if she is a starter or net reliever.

“When I came out, I just wanted to close [y detener] racing, ā€¯Beacom said. “They had some momentum and my goal was just to keep the races from scoring.” said the girl.

Beacom pitched a scoreless inning for the Melbourne Aces, allowing the leadoff bat to reach base before getting two ground balls, with a walk down the middle. With two runners on base, Beacom made the batter fly out. The Aces lost, 7-1, to the Adelaide Giants in the Melbourne Challenge Series.

He pitched in Division 1 of the Victoria Summer Baseball League, a high-level circuit with more than 100 clubs. Beacom was the first woman to pitch at that level and, in 2018, she was the first woman named to the Baseball Victoria U-16 team.

It is impressive to see how a girl has such good mechanics and the “bearing” of a Major League player, she has a lot ahead of her and age is a point in her favor, anything is possible.
