A total of seven players from Burgos will be part of the Castilla y León teams of the categories cadet and childboth male and female, who will participate in the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Basketball Teams which will be disputed between Next January 3 and 7 in Huelva.
They belong to clubs CB San Pablo Burgos, CB Tizona and Women’s Basketball Burgos, and before the National, specifically from this Monday, December 26 through Thursday, December 29They are going to participate in the Cadet and Children’s Basketball Tournament in Olmedo (Valladolid) preparation for the Spanish Championship.
The selected players from Burgos are the following:
- Male Cadet: Santiago Benito Anton (CB Tizona)
- female cadet: Carla Santamaría Sagrado (Burgos Women’s Basketball)
- Child Male: Nicolás Álvarez Rincón, Alfonso Ágreda Mallén and Iván Caracena Esteban (San Pablo Basketball Club)
- Infant Female: Jimena de Diego Martín and Águeda Herrera Senderos (Burgos Women’s Basketball)
All of them together with their colleagues from the different regional teams of Castile and Leon they will search in the National Cadet and Children get as far as possible in the competition, and if possible, fight for podium places against teams like those of Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia or Valencia who will perform again in Huelva with the band of favorite teams for the final victory.
