Latino power was more than present in the branches of the Oakland Athletics, after Dominican prospect Dermis García hit a tremendous home run that exceeded 500 feet in AAA.
The man born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic spent seven years in branches of the New York Yankees and it was until March 11 of this year when, after being a free agent, the A’s signed him with a Minor League contract. and later he was assigned to AAA, where he has been able to leave remarkable numbers so far in the campaign.
Dermis García connects HR of more than 500 feet
The prospect Dermis García lined up this Thursday as the sixth bat and first baseman for the Las Vegas Aviators for one more commitment in the week against the Albuquerque Isotopes, his similar belonging to the Colorado Rockies.

Garcia’s sweeping homer ended up traveling the mammoth 502 feet, hitting the top of the Las Vegas ballpark scoreboard for his seventh HR of the season.
Dermis García finished the game with a hit in three at-bats, with a base on balls, a run scored and one produced, adding to his outstanding season in which he batted .259 and in which he advanced to third place in home runs (7 ) and doubles (10), fourth in runs scored (31), fifth in hits (38) and sixth in RBIs (23) in the Triple-A A’s.
