AEW Double or Nothing Results – CM Punk is crowned new champion

AEW celebrated Double or Nothing on Sunday night from Las Vegas.




At the Buy In, HOOK & Danhausen defeated Tony Nese & Smart Mark Sterling

Wardlow took down MJF relatively easily after hitting him with several powerbombs. MJF was carried away on a stretcher.

The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (with Brandon Cutler) after the Swantom.

A video of The Acclaimed and Gunn Club partying in Las Vegas aired. Billy Gunn found them all and was disappointed in them.

TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) defeated Anna Jay. Stokely Hathaway (formerly Malcolm Bivens in WWE) came out and distracted Jay, allowing Cargill to hit Jaded from the top rope for the victory.

After the match, Kris Statlander ran out and faced Cargill and the Baddies, then Athena (Ember Moon) made her debut to even the numbers.

House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) defeated Death Triangle (PAC, Dark Penta and King Phoenix) when PAC prepared for Black Arrow, but the lights went out and Julia Hart appeared and spit black liquid at PAC. Black hit PAC with the spinning kick to win.

Owen Hart Foundation Cup Finals: Adam Cole defeated Samoa Joe after intervention by Bobby Fish.

After the match, Adam Cole came out and celebrated with Baker. Schiavone spoke on the ramp and introduced Dr. Martha Hart, Owen’s widow and director of the Owen Hart Foundation, who presented commemorative championships and the Cup.

American Top Team (Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Paige VanZant) (with Dan Lambert) defeated Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian and Tay Conti. Guevara inadvertently hit Conti, allowing Sky to hit the TKO for the win.

Kyle O’Reilly defeated Darby Allin

AEW Women’s World Championship: Thunder Rosa (c) defeated Serena Deeb when she hit a superplex from the 3rd rope followed by the Fire Thunder Driver for the win.

Anarchy in the Arena: Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker) defeated Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz. Total madness where there was blood, they fought throughout the arena and dismantled the ring. In the end Danielson landed several kicks on Jericho, but Hager eliminated Danielson with Floyd the Bat. Jericho hit the Walls while Hager choked Danielson with a rope in the ring, causing him to pass out and giving Jericho Appreciation Society the victory.

Andrade El Ídolo was in an office. He said that he wasn’t here in AEW to lose, and AFOs are losers. José the Helper had a contract ready and there was a knock on the door. Rush El Toro Blanco, a former ROH and CMLL star, entered and performed the Ingoberable pose.




Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus (c) (with Christian Cage) defeated Team Taz (Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs) and Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee to retain the championships.

In the star, CM Punk defeats Adam Paige to be crowned the new AEW champion. Good fight which he suffered due to two botchs in a row by Punk when he tried to do the Buckshot Lariat of Page, but in both attempts he fell just after going over the rope.

In the end the referee falls hit, Page was going to hit him with the championship but he regrets it. Punk shortly after surprises him with GTS for the victory.
