The receptor Gary Sanchez dropped a fly ball in foul zone that cost a rally of races to the Yankees of New York and spoil Luis Gil’s outing against the Cleveland Indians in the MLB.
Luis Gil had pitched 4 innings with one run and six strikeouts before starting the fifth inning, where he got the first out, but then Gary Sanchez he dropped a fly by Oscar Mercado that could be the second out of the inning, in the end the pitcher ended up hitting the Colombian from the Indians.

Gil then walked Jose Ramírez and was replaced by Albert Abreu, who took the ball with runners on first and second with Franmil Reyes at bat.
Reyes hit a one-run RBI double through left field, then Harold Ramirez was hit, Yu Yang drove in two runs with a double, Owen Miller had a hit and Andrés Giménez made the game 8-0 over the Yankees with a two-run homer off Albert Abreu.
In the end Luis Gil finished with a line of 4.2 innings, 3 runs, 2 earned, 4 hits, 4 BB and 7 strikeouts. Albert Abreu gave up 5 runs, 3 earned, and Andrew Heaney allowed a home run by Framil Reyes.
